Happy couple

"This day I will marry my best friend,

the one I laugh with,

live for,

dream with,

~ Author unknown ~

It's a day you will remember for the rest of your life. An important step in your journey together and only you know how to make it special and perfect for you and your guests.

As your marriage celebrant, I can help you to put together a ceremony that addresses what needs to be done for the union to be official, whilst weaving in elements like readings, poetry, demonstrations or declarations of love that will make your day beautifully unique and memorable.

However, if you prefer to leave it to me, then I am more than happy to have a chat with you to get an idea of what you are after and then I can prepare a ceremony that reflects you both and celebrates your love before your family and friends.

Vows, Readings & Declarations

Exchange of VowsThere are standard written vows that you can choose to read out to each other, and you can choose from several alternatives. I do encourage couples to consider writing their own though, as this is a perfect opportunity to share with your partner exactly what they mean to you, and what you are choosing to promise them by way of this act of love and commitment.

For those that find their vows getting quite lengthy, you can transform them into a Declaration of Love, that is then printed on a scroll for you to read to each other, without needing constant verbal prompting from me. This scroll is then of course a delightful piece of memorabilia from the day that you can store away, or even frame and put somewhere in your home.

I can of course help you with putting any of these together, as well as with choosing readings and/or prayers that resonate with you both, if desired.

In addition to these elements, you may also choose to include a "ceremony within a ceremony", such as a Rose Ceremony or a Sand Ceremony.

Marriage is the golden ring in a chain whose

beginning is a glance and whose ending is Eternity.

Legal Requirements & Documents

Marriage CertificateMost couples choose to be legally married. For those who cannot, or do not wish to be legally married, but still want a wedding ceremony, there are several options available to you.

To comply with legal regulations, you are required to give the Government thirty (30) days notice by signing a Notice of Intent to Marry with your marriage celebrant.

In order to submit this for you, I will need a copy of your birth certificates, as well as any proof of divorce if applicable.

Beyond that, just leave all of the legal documentation to me - it's what I'm here to do.

Ceremonies start at $400, depending on the content, location and complexity of the event.

A deposit of $100 is required upon signing the Notice of Intent to Marry.

The price includes everything, such as the initial meeting, 1-2 subsequent meetings to discuss and finalise details of the ceremony, the legal work and the ceremony itself.

On the day, everything required for the basic ceremony is supplied, including a CD Player and P.A. (both battery-powered) and a signing table.

" Matt and I would like to say thank you for conducting our Wedding ceremony so beautifully last Thursday. We have been told by many of our guests that it was one of the loveliest ceremonies they had seen. "

- Melissah and Matt

" We valued the part that you played on our wedding day to make it so special and memorable. "

- Shanker and Mia Bala

" We loved every minute - you personalised it and added in the right amount of humor so it wasn't too formal - it was exactly as we'd hoped. "

- Eric and Karen Langen
